the emporium kitchen & wine market at perry lane

Savannah, GA

Prominently located in the heart of the historic district of Savannah, the Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market serves as the lobby bar, main dining and coffee venue at the sought-after Perry Lane Hotel. The reimagined design speaks to the old-world charm of Savannah as well as the eclectic menu of the Emporium. Rich leathers, custom seating and elevated lighting give a more contemporary vibe to the space, but also provide an ambiance that makes it feel as if it had been there for years. To help improve the functionality of the restaurant, the BLUR team worked with the owner, operator and chef to optimize the service flow throughout the space, upgrade service stations, and increase seat count. The space was further revised to create hierarchy and layered zones to foster a true 18-hour restaurant and bar concept. Underutilized spaces were activated and designed to invite guests to settle in for a cup of brew over email in the morning or a craft-made cocktail before dinner.

The timeless yet unique design allows the space to appeal to hotel guests and locals alike, establishing the Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market as a destination restaurant that is as luxurious and unique as the Perry Lane Hotel itself.
