MIDWEST HOTEL AND CONVENTION CENTER
Location Withheld
This project envisions a comprehensive renovation and repositioning of the existing hotel and convention center into a more modern, connected, and market-competitive destination. The scope includes a full transformation of front-of-house interiors. The streetscape is engage by reconfiguring key program elements such as registration, restaurant, café and marketplace, fitness, and select meeting spaces while enhancing the atrium as a central experiential feature and introducing a new Special Meeting Room addition with integrated outdoor amenities. Guestrooms and corridors will undergo a full refresh, with layouts exploring opportunities to improve unit entry sequences and bathroom configurations. Exterior improvements include a reimagined façade with upgraded glazing and materials, new canopy structures, and integrated architectural lighting, alongside significant site enhancements focused on improved circulation, expanded landscaping, and activated outdoor spaces. The ballroom, meeting rooms, and prefunction areas will receive targeted finish, lighting, and technology upgrades, while back-of-house spaces will remain largely intact with selective system and equipment improvements. Collectively, the project aims to elevate the property’s identity, strengthen its connection to the surrounding district, and position it as a premier hospitality and events destination.
