Maeve Taylor
Maeve joins BLUR Workshop after graduating summa cum laude from the Savannah College of Art and Design’s nationally ranked Interior Design program. Her design approach is rooted in collaboration, conceptual storytelling, and the belief that the built environment can foster meaningful human connection. Maeve is passionate about creating environments that feel like an experience, drawing her to hospitality design and the creation of immersive spaces that bring people together.
Originally from Colorado, Maeve grew up in a rural off-grid home built from trees harvested on the property. This early connection to the natural environment fostered an appreciation for sustainability and sparked an interest in design’s ability to influence the way people feel, interact, and experience the world around them.
While at SCAD, Maeve expanded her perspective through travel and study abroad in the medieval village of Lacoste, France. Exploring historic cities and design capitals around the world, she gained insight into historical influences and cross-cultural aesthetics. A highlight of her travels was attending Salone del Mobile in Milan, where she experienced emerging ideas, furniture and lighting innovations, and conversations shaping the future of design.
Maeve is excited to begin her professional career with BLUR. Outside of design, she enjoys running, visiting every coffee shop possible, and discovering all that Atlanta has to offer.
