The Hyatt Regency Aruba is located on 12 acres of beach front property with spectacular views of the Caribbean. BLUR Workshop teamed with EDSA to transform an underutilized corner of the property into a destination resort experience that is unrivaled on the island. Strategically placed to maximize views to the ocean, the pool features a material palette of lush landscaping, natural coral stone and tropical hardwood decking. Tucked just below the pool is a sundeck bordered by bougainvillea for guests who want to be closer to the beach.

Surrounding the pool are five cabanas, each having the ability to subdivide into two for smaller groups. Each cabana features a coral stone and hardwood palette and hosts a sofa, lounge chairs, television, sound system, refrigerators and ceiling fans. Lush vegetation surrounds each cabana while stairs lead into the pool for a private, yet luxurious experience.

The pool features salt water with a tension edge, which allows the water line to be even with the pool deck. When combined with an infinity edge, this unbroken plane facilitates a dramatic visual connection to the ocean. The waterline is clad with a muse glass tile which transitions to an Indonesian Sukabumi green stone that matches the color of the sparkling Caribbean sea beyond.
