CENTERRA planning

Loveland, CO

Part of a larger 3,000-acre development, the planning for this 56-acre parcel in Loveland, Colorado aimed to bring a dynamic mix of unique programs and experiences for the surrounding community into a densely populated community development. The project stressed fluid, natural circulation for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic as a paramount design tool. After hands on in-person charrettes with the client, BLUR Workshop proposed an organic central axis that carves through the center of the site connecting each program element to the energy and activity within the project. Some unique program features included an outdoor theater and music venue, large-wave surf concept, Top Golf concept, family entertainment center, and an organic grocery store.
