PAMELA’s AT UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY HOTEL

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Designed as a dual-purpose lifestyle four-star hotel and convention center, Pamela’s at United States Air Force Academy Hotel masterfully integrates high-capacity event functionality with the relaxed luxury of a Colorado destination resort. Inside the dining venue, the interior architecture utilizes a clean, tailored material palette that contrasts with the rugged beauty of the surrounding wilderness while celebrating mid-century refinement. The expansive dining room is anchored by a monumental, multi-tiered central chandelier composed of frosted, pebble-shaped glass globes that cast a warm glow over a symmetrical arrangement of marble-topped tables. Flanking the central seating area, dramatic, suspended vertical wood-slat installations drop from the ceiling to create intimate, screen-like enclosures without obstructing the light. Guests are seated in plush, curvilinear booths upholstered in ice-blue and soft grey tones, paired with contrasting burnt-orange dining chairs that inject a vibrant warmth into the space. Finely crafted, multi-tiered brass starburst pendant fixtures extend from structural columns on articulated arms, adding a sculptural, atomic-era elegance to the perimeter seating. Throughout the space, floor-to-ceiling glass curtain walls dissolve the boundary between the interior and the landscape, looking out toward an expansive outdoor terrace dotted with bright umbrellas and opening up directly to the breathtaking mountain horizon.
