Abby Miller
Abby Miller comes to BLUR Workshop from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture. While at UT, she embraced the college’s interdisciplinary approach, deepening her interest in the built environment through courses in architectural history, furniture design, and graphic design.
Abby made the most of her time at UT, studying design in a variety of locations across the U.S. and abroad, including Poland, Argentina, and the creative hub of Marfa, Texas. These experiences expanded her lifelong love of travel and sparked a deeper interest in how culture, context, and everyday life shape the built environment.
Originally from Chicago, Abby grew up surrounded by iconic architecture…and even better pizza! Her hometown helped sharpen her eye for detail and build appreciation for design that’s personal and grounded. She gravitates towards interiors that feel lived-in and layered, where history, material, and function come together with intention.
Well-traveled and curious, Abby is always eager to learn, collaborate, and draw inspiration from the world to contribute to meaningful spaces. She speaks French, enjoys thrifting and history, and stays active with tennis, cooking, and travel. A lifelong sports fan, she proudly supports her Chicago teams and the Tennessee Vols.
