nicole rodriguez vasquez

Nicole joined BLUR Workshop in March of 2022. She is currently finishing up her Bachelor of Architecture from Kennesaw State University. During her time at KSU, Nicole has learned to pragmatically and visually solve problems through sketching, digital modeling, rendering, and fabrication. She also has an interest in photography and graphic design. Nicole believes that blurring all disciplines of design (graphic, interior, architecture, industrial), can lead to more impactful spaces. This belief led her to BLUR Workshop. In addition to her academic endeavors, Nicole has drafting and code analysis experience in multi-family and senior living project types.

As a student, Nicole has been drawn to the conceptual and theoretical sides of Architecture and believes that it is important to mediate between practicality and creativity in the spaces we design. She hopes to become a licensed Architect that pushes the boundaries while also making meaningful architecture that contributes to the profession in a positive way. Outside of Architecture, she has a wide range of interests that all stem from her love of learning. Nicole enjoys cooking and trying various cuisines and never shies away from trying something new.
