Lauren Mendoza

Lauren is a Registered Architect in the State of Georgia and comes to BLUR with a breath of knowledge and experience.

Lauren graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s School of Architecture with a Bachelor’s of Architecture. While at Rensselaer, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy. Lauren’s vision, creativity, and attention to detail led to multiple published works and awards throughout her undergraduate years.

Lauren’s favorite part of the design process is the early stages of conceptual development, as it allows her to functionalize her avant-garde creativity. With a deep interest in how multi-disciplinary design processes merge together to create experiential design, she strives to create architecture and interiors that give a sense of emotion and make you rethink structures and spaces. Aside from concept development, Lauren also finds great satisfaction in the execution phase of the architectural process - seeing her projects transverse through the concept, design, print, and ground-breaking steps.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys traveling and is especially fascinated with art, history, cultures, and languages. So far, Lauren has resided in 7 locations across 3 continents!
