Jeremy Goodman

Jeremy joined BLUR Workshop in 2021 after working in Chicago and Dallas as a designer in Mixed-use Multi-family. His first exposure to the professional world of architecture was with a local Architect in Tucson, Arizona while he attended The University of Arizona's College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.

While at the University of Arizona, Jeremy found a passion for sustainable design through materiality and design strategies. His thesis project focused on revitalizing a community adjacent to the Port of Los Angeles with sustainable and passive design strategies. This project integrated a historic community with a renewed wetland ecosystem through an elevated urbanized vertical farm and desalination plant that supplied fresh water and produce while allowing local wildlife to reclaim the landscape below. The project was recognized through local deign competitions, winning numerous awards.

Since joining BLUR, Jeremy has worked a wide variety of project scales.  These include the 5,000sf Gathering House at a luxury lakeside residential community in North Georgia and a massive atrium redesign at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center.  He has also been a key team member of the 375-key, United States Air Force Academy Hotel and Conference Center in Colorado Springs which is currently under construction. Jeremy has worked on a number of projects in the workshop at BLUR including revitalizing a reclaimed wooden table that is now the centerpiece of our newly renovated break room. He is also currently leading a research & development project focused on casting a custom breezeblock design to be installed at the USAFA Hotel Rooftop Bar.
