Anthony Padilla

Anthony joined BLUR Workshop in 2023 after graduating from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville's College of Architecture and Design. Anthony found his passion for architecture in a summer design camp at the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2017. He was fascinated by the multi-disciplinary nature of the profession and collaboration that is integral through every facet of project development.

While at the University of Tennessee, Anthony discovered an affinity for sustainable and biophilic design in the completion of a Minor in Plant Science with an Emphasis on Sustainable Landscape Design. This focus was evident in many of his studio projects which incorporated a clear connection to the environment and context of a project.

Anthony participated in a study abroad experience in Helsinki, Finland in 2022 which highlighted his appreciation for culture and the different ways in which people view architecture and space making. He also loves visiting cities and towns around the southeast, enjoying local and regional food and architecture. Anthony believes there is an immense amount of knowledge to learn from other people and cultures, and hopes to continue his education through traveling to different states and countries.

Outside of BLUR, Anthony enjoys riding around the city on his electric scooter, playing video games, and seeking out adventure whenever he can.
