Samantha Sullivan

Samantha is new to the professional design world after graduating from Mississippi State’s interior design program in 2019. Feeling the need to create beauty around her since she was a little girl, Samantha’s love for art and design gives her the drive to design functional and inspirational spaces that users feel welcome in. She leans towards space planning and conceptual aspects of design, but is also drawn towards the assembly and construction side of the business because of her love for woodworking. Her interest in benefitting her community is not only implemented into designing beautiful spaces, but also in her involvement with Habitat for Humanity, which she plans to become involved with here in Atlanta. A notable project that Samantha participated in during her schooling was a Brasfield and Gorrie competition in which architecture, interior design, building construction science, and graphic design students collaborated to design a proposed renovation for a museum on Mississippi State’s campus. Samantha’s 11-person team placed second in the competition due to their innovative ideas for the space and attention to detail. Samantha looks forward to becoming immersed in hospitality design industry during her time as a summer intern here at BLUR Workshop.
