Noe joined BLUR Workshop with a diverse background in the design and construction industry. He grew up in construction-oriented family who specialized in custom residential projects in California and later transitioned to factory and multifamily projects in South Carolina. After acquiring an Associate Degree in HVAC in 2012, he pursued both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Savannah College of Art and Design with a minor in sculpture. During his time at SCAD he was involved in several international design competitions. His most notable project, NASA’s Centennial Challenge, placed top thirty among over 500 proposals and was then 3-D printed and presented at the 2015 Makers Make Fair in New York City. Noe not only enhanced his academic career with competitions, but also worked as Eichberg’s Shop Manager and as a Lab(N)ormal Digital Fabrication Club member at SCAD. This work has given a him broad range of fabrication experience to compliment his real-world expertise.
Since joining BLUR Workshop, Noe has continued to embrace an attitude of collaboration and teamwork to help enrich each project he works on. Noe’s unique background has allowed him to apply his mechanical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing into projects and is a great compliment to the BLUR Workshop team.
