HILTON mclean tyson's corner

McLean, VA

When Hilton moved from Beverly Hills to McLean, Virginia we were honored to be the design team engaged to design the new Hilton guestroom for their flagship hotel.  While at tvsdesign members of BLUR Workshop developed these rooms under the Hilton Worldwide Design team and worked with all disciplines such as brand, operations and property itself.  Aesthetically we wanted a room rich in material yet clean in detail, sophisticated in design yet intuitive.    The room needed to have a sense of place and understand this particular hotels clientele which was mostly business.   All of these things came together to create a room that enhanced the overall guest experience and gave Hilton a tailored product in which to grow the brands future.   The hotel consisted of 458 keys, other than guestrooms we also developed the corridors, fitness guestrooms: yoga and cardio, two bay suites and a presidential suite.
